For CPA and tax-prep firms

Get every client's documents in with far less chasing.

Before the season, we set up a document list for each client, built from last year's return, with reminders that ask only for what's still missing and stop once it arrives.

It runs in the tools you already use: TaxDome, Canopy, Karbon, Onvio, Intuit Link, Drake, ShareFile, SmartVault, or no portal at all. Your staff don't configure anything, and it's live by early January.

Next reminder on Feb 3 asks only for the three missing items.

Synthetic example. Invented client.

January to April, someone is always chasing

  • The portal stores files. It doesn't say what's missing. A client uploads three of seven documents and assumes they're done. Nobody notices until a preparer opens the file.
  • A generic organizer asks everyone about everything. So clients guess, send what they think you need, and the follow-up happens by email and phone, one client at a time.
  • December never leaves time to set it up. Most portals can send requests and reminders. Someone has to build the lists and schedules for every client first, right when year-end work peaks.

What we set up

  • A document list for each client, built from last year's return: every W-2, 1099, 1098 and K-1 they had, by issuer, plus the questions that matter for this year.
  • Reminders that name only what's still missing. When the 1098 arrives, the next reminder asks only for the rest. When everything is in, the reminders stop.
  • One view of who is complete, and a "ready to prepare" notice to the preparer when a file is.

How we set it up depends on what you use today:

You useWe set up
TaxDome, Canopy, Karbon, Onvio, Intuit Link, Drake PortalsThe request lists, organizers, reminder schedules and status view the tool already supports, configured for every client.
ShareFile, SmartVault, Verifyle, DropboxRequest lists and reminders for each client, plus a status view, running alongside the portal your clients already know.
Email and paperA secure upload, with the list and the reminders built around it.

Custom work comes in only where the tools fall short, for example reading prior-year returns from tax software that doesn't feed the portal.

What a client gets

A synthetic client, built from an imagined prior-year return. The format is what your clients would see.

Questions for 2026: Did either of you change jobs? Did you move, or buy or sell a home? Did you sell any cryptocurrency? Any new dependants? Did you receive a 1099-K or 1099-NEC?

The reminder, sent only while items are missing:

Hi Rosa, thanks for sending the W-2s and the childcare details. We still need 4 items: the 1099-INT from your credit union, the brokerage 1099-B and 1099-DIV, the Form 1098, and the K-1 from Alvarez Design LLC. Most of these arrive by mid-February. Upload them here as they come in.

The notice to your preparer:

Alvarez (Rosa and Daniel): all 8 items received on Feb 21. Ready to prepare.

How it works

  1. A free audit of your season. How many returns, which tax software and portal, when organizers go out, and how documents arrive today. You get a written offer: scope, fixed price and go-live date.
  2. You share last year's data. Usually an export from your tax software, through a secure upload. We build the list for each client and the reminder schedule, and you review them.
  3. We test with ten clients first. You see exactly what they receive before anyone else does.
  4. Then it goes live. Reminders run on their own, stop when a client is complete, and tell the preparer the file is ready.

Setup takes one to two weeks, from your go-ahead to ready for your clients.

What this is not

  • We don't prepare returns or give tax advice.
  • We don't change your tax software or replace your portal.
  • Your staff decide what each client needs. The list is a draft from last year's return until you approve it.

Questions firms ask

We already use TaxDome. Isn't this built in?

The features are. Building the request lists and reminder schedules for every client is the part that takes time, and December rarely leaves it. We do that setup inside TaxDome, so nothing new is added.

Do our clients have to learn a new tool?

No. If you have a portal, they keep using it. If you don't, they get a secure upload with the list of what's needed.

Is it too late for this season?

No. Setup takes one to two weeks, and we take on only a few firms at a time so every date holds.

Can uploads be checked off automatically?

Yes, as an option. By default your staff tick each item off as it arrives, one click per document, and the reminders adjust on their own. If you'd rather not, each upload can be read and matched to the client's list automatically. That means AI reads your clients' documents, so we agree it in writing first. We cover it in the free audit.

What about our WISP and vendor rules?

We work under a written agreement and answer your vendor questionnaire before any client data is shared.

What does it cost?

Setup in the tools you already use is priced between $1,500 and $3,500, depending on how many clients you have and which tools you use. If your tax software doesn't feed your portal and we need to connect the two, integration work starts at $3,000. Optional support during the season starts at $300 a month. Every price is fixed and in writing, after your free audit and before you commit.

Your documents

We sign confidentiality terms before you send a single file. Software does the reading and matching, and a person reviews the setup and every exception before it reaches your staff. Your documents are processed only on systems we control, or through AI model providers whose contract terms bar them from training on them and limit how long they can keep them. We delete our working copies 30 days after the work ends unless you ask us in writing to keep them.

Who's behind Fullpaper Labs

Fullpaper Labs was founded in Boca Raton in 2026 by a software developer with 25 years of building systems where the data has to reconcile, including nearly nine years at Deloitte and time at Allianz Global Investors on capital-markets systems, and many integrations between systems that were never designed to talk to each other.
